Independent brewery continues to expand
The Bournemouth Brewing Co has taken on larger premises to facilitate the continued expansion of their business. Currently located at Unit 12, 4-6 Abingdon Road, Nuffield Industrial Estate, Poole, the brewery has moved to Unit 6, within the same estate. This larger industrial unit comprises 2215 ft² (205.7 m²), providing much needed room for increased production.
Chris Mathers of Bournemouth Brewing Co commented: “ With our business surpassing all expectations and moving to bigger premises; we are pleased to announce that we are increasing the range of our beers and should be producing monthly specials for our customers to come in and enjoy. We’ve just started brewing lagers to go with our award-winning ales so hopefully with this new premises we will be able to quadruple production for all our thirsty followers. We’re not trying to take over the world, we’re just trying to make good honest tasty beer.”
The estate (4-6 Abingdon Road) is managed by James and Sons, on behalf of a private client. Peter Davy of James and Sons commented; “We are delighted to have been able to help Bournemouth Brewing Co relocate, and also to retain them within the estate. Unit 6 has only recently become available so it is also a great result for our client to have this unit re-let so quickly. We will shortly be marketing Unit 12 ‘To Let’, which will be available when the brewery has completed their relocation”.
